A seasonably frosty day, but the first full sun in several mornings. My walk started just after 9 AM and lasted about an hour.

Bluebird trio, in wintertime Bluebirds roam the countryside in small flocks.

The Brown Creeper is a tiny bird that seems to be in constant motion. iI's difficult to get a good picture of one; I'll keep trying.

Following the Milkweed

I was surprised to spot a Monarch at the park in early October. It was the first time I spotted one this late in the year, (it's not unprecedented except for me). The monarch’s migration is famously the longest and most complex of any North American butterfly.
